Winning poppy

The poppy which decided to ground in the kitchen doorstep has won the flowering race. The increasingly massive plants in the beds are threatening to follow suit v soon. I do love my garden in June- all poppies, roses and daisies. If only I could ever remember to plant something that flowered at any other point.

Lots of clearing and cleaning today. Went to see Jay in his new hospital home, hopefully he will come home one day.
