We went to Pollok Country Park in Glasgow today for the first time in a long while..... it is a huge space and a real fresh air lung in the city.  We wandered around the gardens, and the country paths, and really enjoyed it.  Pollok has a large herd of Highlanders and we saw some of them.  The young ones were quite amusing as they were ignoring the fresh grass and standing in the mud, I think it was cooling them down on such a warm day.

We had drinks in the tea garden at the side of Pollok House, which is a magnificent building with a lot of history, which can be checked online if you want to know more.
