Chase me!

There were three or four grey squirrels in the garden this morning chasing each other up and down the trees.  Purdy was not impressed and in due course decided enough was enough and chased them all away.

I had a close encounter with a badger last night.  I went out the front door to call Purdy in and saw that she was staring at the location of some rustling noises in the woodland.  I stood by her and a moment later a badger popped out onto our drive and stood still about 6 feet away.  For a few seconds all three of us stayed still and then the badger raised its head to sniff the air, picked up our scent and was off.
