Lancashire Mining Museum

J's been volunteering at the mining museum - and so we took my parents to have a look.  

They ran the winding engine (apparently the largest surviving engine in Europe), and the newly opened railway was also running (see extra).  

A good wander around, and a cream tea made for a good afternoon
