Frilly fungi

I'm curious to find out more about this growth on a tree stump but I'm about to head to bed so my research will have to wait.  To get a sense of scale, if you look closely you may be able to identify a small fly on a mid-right frill, at about 9 o'clock.

The rain continued through this morning, though more as annoying drizzle than real rain.  By this afternoon things were beginning to look and feel a lot more pleasant.  After some 4 days of on and off rain I can confidently sat that I'm over it!  To be fair though - it's not really cold which I take as a blessing :)
