burst of colour

Although I live in central Africa it is not dry and dusty all year round as many people imagine. We are in the middle of the rainy season and it has been raining continually all day, really dull and dreary.

I am always amazed in Malawi no matter what the season, whether its brown and dry or green and wet, we always have so many burst of plant colour. I found this one in my garden this afternoon as I was coming home from work. There are many Cassia trees in full bloom at present too giving bursts of yellow colour - maybe I will get a good photo of them another day!
