Nearly home

If was drizzling a bit when we checked out of the hotel at 9am. We called over to John and Edwina's for breakfast before starting off on the second leg of our journey home. It was busy on the m60 and m61, but not bad enough to cause any hold-ups, and once we were on the m6 and past Preston the traffic started thinning out. The sun came out too and it was a lovely afternoon by the time we got home.
Everything in the garden seems to have grown since we've been away and the tomatoes in the greenhouse have come on really well. Spent a good hour watering in the evening.
