Spring Forward! Well, Maybe Not . . .

As you might imagine, the Tabby was very, very glad to welcome us home after our weekend backpacking adventure. (And quite an adventure it was! If you missed it, now's your chance to go back and catch up.)

When we're away, I set up an automatic pet feeder for him which dispenses dry cat food. This is quite a handy device and I highly recommend it. Still, it's no substitute for human love and affection, and for wet cat food, both of which he craves.

This past weekend was the weekend of the time change, of springing forward! We already have adapted as well as can be expected to the change, but there are apparently some who are still missing that lost hour of sleep.

In this photo: Dexter catches up on his snoozes following the time change. You may note that his eyes are partly open. Since I got back from our overnight trip, he's been like this: sticking close, keeping an eye on me at all times!

Only a lullaby would fit this picture, so here's one. Maybe you are also missing that extra hour of sleep? If so, grab your pillow and your blankie and join in the snooze . . . Billy Joel, Lullabye (Goodnight, My Angel).
