Just a moth

Busy day in the garden but I managed to keep up to date with MrT's racing in between tasks. An eventful afternoon ....
Yesterdays race put him in 8th position on the grid for race 2. Super exciting to track and listen to the commentary. Looked like he was going to finish in 3rd position but someone gave him a wee tap sending him off onto the grass on the last lap so 6th position. Final race in the afternoon, saw him off to a great start and there was a moment when he was leading but then boom. Four cars were all competing for the same space and MrT & our friend Jay were sent spinning. Safety car was out but it was the end of the race for both of them. Both were fine but our car seems to have come off worst. Thankfully the chassis doesn't appear to have been damaged but the wishbone and steering rack are history. Absolutely gutted for my tame racing driver but so pleased that no one was hurt and all the safety gizmos worked their magic.
MrT has stopped off at a hotel as it was too late and tiring to attempt to get back to Argyll. The car is on it's way to one of the teams for repair.
