Contrasts

....between outdoors and indoors (this was taken through the kitchen window as I was having lunch), between the temperature today (6°C) and the temperature at the weekend (17°C), between light and dark.

(Isn't it wonderful how you can use the camera's deficiencies in comparison with the eye to make images that are so different from what you see? There wasn't nearly so much contrast between light and shade in reality, but it has hidden the dirty window!)

It looks so bright outside that I want to go out with the camera, but when I did I was just too cold to stay long, and I have a lot of work to do, followed by a Cercle Occitan committee meeting this evening, so this lazy blip will have to do.

I blipped late last night after a brilliant performance of poetry and music.
