Almost Hidden

The grass and meadow flowers have grown up so much after the recent warm weather, that the deer are almost hidden from view even if they are standing up.

This evening we spotted him close to the lane but I didn't have the time to try and get closer.

By the time I returned, the sun had gone and so had he. 
However, as I stood scanning the field, does started to appear on the edge of the woods, leading their fawns out into view. 

I'm all over the place with my blips at the moment. There have been times recently when I haven't had any chance to take a photo and others, although taken, remain unedited for days, uploaded late and often not in chronological order.
Being busy is a poor excuse as I'm sure many of you could say the same thing but, I'm apologising once more for lack of comments etc.
