Blending in

I had been looking for dippers ever since the river level dropped a week or so ago. I almost missed this superbly camouflaged one. Seconds after I had put my camera away the kingfisher flew over its head.
Much a repeat of yesterday, more wood preparation interspersed by woodpecker spotting. An early evening swim which was so much better than yesterday, my new swimsuit from Lidl at a ridiculous price was more than satisfactory.
And then a catch up with M and arrangements to meet up in Oban now I am liberated.
