Iris
We've had lunch with my BIL and nephew and niece in law today, they're always pleasant occasions when we meet up and this was no exception. My nephew and his wife are looking forward to going back up to Scotland in August as it's their "happy place". Their visits there are never times to recharge though, as their home on the Isle of Harris is an on-going labour of love, but situated as it is on the sea's edge they don't begrudge any amount of hard work and effort they have to put it.
Another garden blip today and I chose an Iris, I prefer blues but I thought this was lovely too and I liked the texture of the petals. Thank you for the response to yesterday's blip, it's very much appreciated.
