No Jacket Required, Sheerness

I tried to pack a lot in today as I want to enjoy my weekends as much as possible due to all the turmoil going on at work. So to start off the day me and my brother were off for a four mile run well before seven o'clock in the morning. It was already warm by that stage so it was time to get the legs out, i.e. wear shorts. If you have the Scottish complexion of me and my brother then white skin is a tan in our house but we decided to brave it anyway - it was so early hardly anyone was going to see us anyway!
After that it was time for bacon rolls, strong coffee and then a good soak and a bit of a snooze. Before ten we were off for a micro trip to Sheerness because the weather was so beautiful and we decided we had to breath some sea air, if only for half an hour or so. Today's main shot was taken from a jetty off the sea wall. The sky, clouds and colours were mesmerising and hopefully this captures how lovely it felt. The extra two shots, I think, show the idiosyncratic nature of this seaside town which I have grown to rather love. It's not considered cool or trendy but it is a quintessentially quirky, down to earth British seaside location and all the better for it.
After that it was the weekly shop and a quick drink in town before getting back home. We packed that all in and it wasn't even two o'clock in the afternoon!
