Diane's Garden

Diane is one of my oldest friends here in Maine.  She lives very nearby.  She is establishing a native Maine flower garden in the dooryard of her house.  It is coming in very nicely.  The dragonflies were thick in the hazy blue sky and today our temperatures will reach into the 90'sF with perhaps record temperatures tomorrow.  The wee house you see in the collage is a cover for their well head.  Her husband built it to match the house.  Today will be a day for lemonade on the porch!
