Silly Saturday

Another glorious day, and I walked across the fields into St Ives Estate spying what I think of as the “Spiky Tree Monster” en route.  Thought it would do as an entry for Silly Saturday in memory of Admirer. Walked along the lower pathways then back past the mansion, coming out at the Ivy Kitchen.  Treated myself to a takeaway latte and saw Jeanneb53 and husband C in the cafe - quick chat as I waited, and then I went for a wander around the pond. Pretty quiet today, and everyone I saw stopped for a chat which was nice.  Colours, the fields, birds and hay making all adding up to a lovely walk.
