St Ives

First visit ever, what a gem!   We arrived in glorious sunshine and the town sparkled.  Not as busy as I feared but bustling and lovely.  Every shop the conversation was of two topics, the fact that no one can get staff and the incoming G7 summit next weekend.  It does seem a bizarre choice of venue and the town is closing down and shutting roads from next week.  No compensation for loss of business or holiday cancellations.   

We had a fine light lunch and walked the rounds checking little shops and the various beaches.  Hearty dinner at a local pub
