.....vintage photies that is, I'm still a bit under the weather in the tummy department (and it's snowing at 10 minute intervals) so I'm hereby declaring this 'history week'!

This one is probably from the 40's or 50's given the headgear. Before the days of a TV in every home the fire brigade did a lot more public demos of their training exercises....ah yes, we certainly knew how to enjoy ourselves in those days ;-)
