2021 Saturday — Los Angeles

We have doctor and dental appointments this coming week that have been schedule for quite some time. So after 18 sleeps at our coastal place, this morning we headed south along the coast and then when we arrived at Los Angeles we turned East to head for the Inland Empire.

What we had not planned on was Mr. Fun waking-up with his right knee swollen and being quite painful. He had surgery on that knee way back on December 30th, 2013, for torn cartilage. So we’ll add “knee” to list of things to tend to while we’re in SoCal.

The internal issues that I’m having — either gallbladder, liver, or pancreas — have been added to the list as well.

The best thing we get to do while we are here, though, is attend our youngest great-grandchild’s 2nd birthday party. We can hardly believe RJ is going to be 2.

So we’re in SoCal for about 2 weeks. Other than the drive from one location to the other, we enjoy being here. The drive today was marred by heavy traffic in Newberry Park and then east of Pasadena. We did arrive safely and we’re thankful.
