Woodhenge..
This is actually the forerunner to its more famous (and close by) sister henge, Stonehenge.... I nipped out in break between my first meeting of the day (which was nearby) to grab this blip...
The posts in the ground are no longer wooden, but instead are concrete representations..... a little bit about Woodhenge can be found here. If you cant be bothered to read all the wiki stuff then a summary is as follows:
Woodhenge is a Neolithic Class II henge and timber circle monument located in the Stonehenge World Heritage Site in Wiltshire, England. It is 2 miles (3.2 km) north-east of Stonehenge in the parish of Durrington, just north of Amesbury.
A long day today - I didn't get home from a meeting in Bath until 1am (hence the lateness of my blip!!). I think we have some progress on this forthcoming project!!
Hope everyone is happy out there in Blipland :-)
