Peony

We seem to have had visitors most of the day. John mowed, and this takes best part of three hours at this time of year; Alison and Jim arrived with a lovely bunch of flowers, yellows and  bronzes. Hobbs did not approve of Alison and Jim. He treated them like he does the cats, barking and barking. I think he was defending the house really; he seems to think this is an extension of his own home these days!
