Flock of Seagulls......

Once I had everything fed, hitched up the power Harrow and made a start on the field of ploughing that the contractor finished yesterday.
It always amazes me how when ever you start working ground gulls appear from nowhere. They must have some sort of sea mail system. I noticed 3 of the black headed gulls had leg rings fitted. It would be interesting to know how far they had come.
There were also 3 buzzards hanging around ,so no doubt the 7 wee peewits from yesterday will be long gone. And they blame the lack of ground nesting birds on farming practice ! The real cause is too many vermin and hooky beaks ,but what would I know ,I've only lived here all my life !
