Bogbean

A trip today to the local nature reserve, to see if there were any orchids out yet. I found just one of those (my extra, Northern Marsh Orchid)  but was also pleased to spot another of the special plants of the reserve, the bogbean (Menyanthes trifoliata).  I'd never found this before. Apparently, the name is because its leaves look like those of broad beans.
