Tree of Jesse
Staying in Troyes within the Champagne region and enjoying this medieval town (in the extra the view from our little Airbnb accomodation). There is a proposed discovery path for tourists and we followed it for a large part, even visiting two churches. There was a medieval stained glass school here and the old church windows are impressive. On the right window the tree of Jesse, representing the genealogical tree of Christ (early 16th century).
We were lucky with the weather. Still rainy in the morning and then dry and pleasant temperatures. Important for us, as restaurants are still closed and dining is only possible on terraces, taking into account the curfew starting from 9pm.
