Lots of blossom

Popped over to see a friend today as she has not been well.  She has a chronic spine condition that has got worse and decreased her mobility.  I have known her husband since I was 7 years old and I think he is finding it a strain coping.
They have a very large garden and he often brings me vegetables he has grown.  M is now no longer unable to look after the flowers and nature has taken over to some extent, but it is still beautiful.  We sate in the sun, ate ice cream and had a good catch up.  I am hoping they will soon be able to come over for a meal.  She said that she will rely on a takeaway if I visit them because she can no longer manage to cook a full meal easily.
I am counting my blessings!
