Blue Moon

This poor rose is in a shady spot and usually manages to put out one flower a year. When it was planted about 17 years ago the hedge was new, and the saplings small!! Think it has been there too long to move it now. But I am happy to give it its annual glory on blip ;-)

A funny sort of day. Popped into town this morning as wanted some things from M&S, and another place for a photo frame and rose clear then back home. Gave the birds their second helpings, and chased off the jackdaws and magpies. Sue called in for a late coffee and a wander around the garden, found a couple of seed heads for here bowl of bits and bobs ;-)

Rain has been promised, there is now dampness in the air so hopefully it will develop in a while to water the garden, as everything is quite dry again.
