Low tide

Strong winds recently created big waves which washed lots of seaweed onto Seven Mile Beach. This was at low tide this morning. The wind has dropped, the surf has calmed, the sun is shining. Sunlight is sparkling on gentle waves, moving the beach-washed seaweed to and fro. Winter in this part of the world is very benign, maybe the most enjoyable time of year.
