A tangle of lizards

Despite the steady drizzle today these lizards were out at Red Hill nature reserve. The wild flowers are coming into their own in the Coronation chalk hill meadow. The wild bees are still occupying an old elm tree, the skylarks were out and an old crow was sitting amongst the fading cowslips. A peaceful place.
