Do you like butter?
Today was another sunny day. I went out late morning to check a route for the Intermediate walkers. We will do this circular from Birtley on June 23rd.
I found a back road and track I had not walked before. It was really lovely. What was not lovely were the nettles. They are growing in abundance. The first long stretch of them was on an old railway line and there was not a dock leaf in sight!
This is not a walk for people in shorts. In fact my summer walking trousers did nothing to protect me.
I am probably going to change one section to make the walking more pleasurable. The views were terrific.
Mum had the company of Margaret (across the road) at lunchtime and Liesbeth (down the village) in the late afternoon.
I am puzzled about last night's blip. It did not load correctly at first, then did. Are you able to see it? I ask only because fellow blippers who normally comment are absent. I wanted all the cat lovers to know about Oscar's great step forwards in the socialisation game!
