We've just been for our walk (8pm) in the rain which started at midday and hasn't stopped since and it's 10 degrees cooler too.
These Red/pink Campions are flowering just through the gate that leads onto the meadows and look beautiful, even in the rain.    The rain has been welcomed by the gardeners and farmers, my water butt's were getting low and everything smells so lovely and fresh now.
