Boys and their toys (and a buoy).

Has anyone tried the AA SmartCare scheme for their car MOT and service?  I was not impressed.  True, the car was picked up and returned to me in record time.  But communication was non-existent and nothing was explained.  In order to get explanations I had to ring the AA, who rang the garage, who rang me.  My patience was wearing a bit thin after all that.  They could have offered to repair a tyre with a nail in it, but didn't.  They could have topped up my brake fluid which they said was getting low, but they were too busy.  It was worth a try, but I'll go back to my little local garage, which is slower but explains everything and treats me and my car properly.
