Lone sailor in the rain

After looking at the weather forecast I decided it couldn’t be as bad as that, so went for a sail as planned.
After about 20 minutes the rain started and got steadily worse. Around 30 minutes the ‘waterproof’ jacket surrendered and 5 minutes later I was back to the jetty.
Two similarly soaked sailors gave me a hand getting the boat ashore and then we stood dripping and drinking coffee waiting for it to stop.
It didn’t stop.
Packed up very wet and headed home.
Still raining as predicted in the forecast. I think they may have got it right....
