We have spent a lovely day on Littlehampton beach with my old Pen Pal from when we were teenagers. We see each other whenever we can as both of us are busy and living apart quite a distance from Kingston to Manchester.
We listened to some Goldfrapp, then Gus Gus then Depeche Mode tracks occasionally singing and twisting our hips.
Our boys played all day together on a beach, running around playground, swimming in the sea, digging holes, play with catching balls, and in the evening finally played some games together.
We were walking along the pier looking for some place to sit and eat.
Few restaurants down the road was already booked, reserved, seated or simply full, but on the last street corner there was this cool restaurant called Bad Saint. They served Malbec my husband likes and I went for Vodka Martinis dry with three olives, had three of those :P
We had great food with it too. I opted for salmon and crab mousse roulette with toasted sourdough and had delicious lemon tart with meringue, strawberry sorbet with raspberry coulis.
Very delicious, highly recommended.
We walked back to our lovely Beach House we were staying (so lucky to find a decent B&B with Prosecco to welcome and delicious, continental breakfast, one day before spontaneously). And even Yogi was welcomed.
A xo
