Heavy rain last night, with lightning for hours. Grey and muggy this morning with a further 18mm promised and a yellow warning in place until tomorrow, at least.

There wasn't much to point the camera at today. Nell was moving well so we did the full circuit. I had hoped to find some fire salamanders, as they emerge on to the tracks following rain. No joy. I shot one of the many puddles and Nell photo bombed.

Extra is a lovely combination of umbellifer and bracken. I thought it pretty.
