As rain continues to fall our local river is raging. The noise is loud, current swiftly carrying trees and debris as it flows towards the ocean. There's  an evacuation zone in place, fingers crossed the layer of stopbanks will stay strong. It always amazes me how quickly the river can go from being braided to a full on rage.
