A wild brownie

I sauntered down to the river for a couple of hours this evening, quite a few small fish splashing around wolfing down the abundant fly life. After some fun with a couple of the native brown trout and a few small salmon parr everything stopped moving except the young otter swimming upstream!
Plenty of bats in action above the water, several different shapes and sizes, note to myself that I must learn more about these interesting creatures.
