Choppy waters

I wanted to see if the herring gull chicks had hatched yet but mum was still sitting patiently on the nest. Last year I took a photo of the newly hatched chicks on 4th June but we are going away on Saturday so I will likely miss them this year.
As we approached the sea front we could feel the wind blowing from the south so ideal conditions today for the windsurfer.
