Aeonium

I haven't been away from the house all day today but did manage to clock up almost 6,000 steps. This morning I decided I should spend some time in the garden. I managed to clear the area where I wanted to plant the cosmos I bought on Tuesday and added some soil conditioner before doing so. The soil conditioner was delivered this morning, which was convenient. After my allocated hour I went in and made us a coffee so I could sit down and do some necessary admin while I drank it.

After lunch I decided I could manage another hour in the garden and planted up the two bowls which I bought last summer especially for the aeonium. I only hsve one dark one and the rest are all the more usual green. Hopefully now it is planted out the dark one will produce babies for next year. Pleased to say that my back was OK after spending 2 hours gardening and I even managed 30 minutes ironing while watching some of the French Open tennis.

Must dash now as we are presenting another talk tonight. Normally we don't accept more than one booking a week but last night's talk got slotted in at a weak moment.
