What a day and night.

I set my alarm for 7:30 am to make sure I was all ready to go shopping by 9:30. As I woke up so a message arrived on my phone which said ‘ W’s still at hospital’.  EEEK what ever had happened when I was asleep. 

It transpired that shortly after I had gone to bed Mr W had tripped and hit his head very badly. In view of his current heath issues he was off to Bristol BRI asap! No harm done and a scan of his head was clear .

However this all took ALL night and in the end he discharged himself with out being stitched up. As a result of this our day was somewhat different but we did manage to go for lunch to celebrate Mrs W’s birthday and Miss L’s too! We then headed for the Mulberry shop where Mrs W purchased her 60th birthday present which we had all contributed to. Only 18 months late but never mind.

All pretty tired when we got back so a quick curry (choice of after my coconut mishap) and retired to bed early.
