New roof

The gov’s potting shed had a suspected leaky roof. We bought the new felt last year but the autumn and winter weather wasn’t conducive to refelting the roof. Anyway it got boosted to the top of the list and we took advantage of the slight overcast this morning and stripped off the old felt, even got one new piece on before lunch. This afternoon the sun came out and finishing it was hot and thirsty work. The bricks are only there until the lap cement sets so they will be off at the weekend.
In return for this I’ve been given permission to go sailing tomorrow.
