PREENING HERON.

So glad I went to the canal early as just after I got home about 8am it started raining. Today is has been a little sunny,  but mostly grey, windy and some rain. Did not see much this morning, but was lucky to see this hidden heron, preening in the tree and the extra was just a view of the canal with a gull. Managed to get a good bit of gardening down in between the showers.
My new washing machine is coming tomorrow morning, so that will be good as I can then do a wash.
Off now to feed the dogs, chickens and the wild birds and fish.
