Christchurch Cathedral

Today we decided to take the bus and visit the city. We had a great time catching up on all the new post earthquake buildings. Our cathedral was badly damaged in the 2011 earthquake. After years of arguments mainly about costs repair has finally begun. With the complete spire destroyed the building is hardly recognisable. It will be great when this iconic building is finally restored to its former beauty.
