We saw this ‘63 Chevrolet Chevy Corvette Split Window as we were driving toward Cayucos today.

1963 was the only year for the split-window coupe and it was the first Corvette coupe ever made. Beginning in 1964, the Corvette coupe had a one-piece rear window.

A 1963 Corvette Split Window sold for $275,000 at Mecum's 2013 Kissimmee Auction. Wow! Originally more than 10,000 were built.

When I was still living at home with my parents and a single older lady in our neighborhood purchased one. Most of us neighbors thought it was quite cool.
