Half term treats

How utterly wonderful to be eating out for lunch in the sunshine. It felt properly luxurious.

After that big glass of wine I trundled off to town to go and collect my bike from work. I think I’m resigned to walking and cycling for a week or two as I’m nursing a strained calf. After nearly a week off, I tried a gentle run this morning but didn’t even get to the end of my road. I didn’t realise how much I was enjoying running again until suddenly I can’t do it.

It was stinking hot on the walk into town and I think every child in Shrewsbury had decided to cool off in the splash park. Caught up with some wonderful people en route, what a treat.
