It was too hot today so, after walking the Bleb, I headed to the churchyard. Interesting reading the headstones and thinking of the mark some folk made on the local community.
Joseph Goddard lived in the Manor House and was the architect of the fine grade 2 building where I used to work for many years.
He was also the architect of our little cottage... strange, eh!
His impressive family tombstone didn’t have any wild flowers, so I chose Hilda’s instead.
Need to return to tag for wildflower week and to catch up on your journals, x
