New River and heron

Working from home today. 
It's all feeling like groundhog day but on we go.
SK called to see if I could take a break and go for a walk with her.
I could so we did.

The swan is still on her nest much further down the river so I'll go back tomorrow with my better camera to photograph her progress.

It was only after the walk and we had said goodbye that I found out that it was SK's birthday. She hadn't said a word. I messaged her and she said she never makes a fuss and it was just nice to go for the walk. I was glad about that.
