Gannet #67
We set out for Bempton this morning with lots of hope and a great forecast ahead of us. It was a bit slow going and took us about three and a half hours to get there, arriving at about 12.30. The sun was shining and it looked like being a lovely afternoon. However, less than an hour after arriving the sea mist rolled in and made it really difficult. We saw a few puffins(extra) but they were too far away and it was too misty so today’s blip is one of the beautiful gannets that grace the cliffs. It’s the best I could do in the circumstances - we hadn’t counted on being fogged out! We will try again tomorrow to find some puffins.
I’m pretty tired this evening so will catch up with your journals when I get home if I get behind again.
