Dock bug
Thank you for your kind comments on my 3,000 blip yesterday, as i said then, you really are all stars. :-)
Back to usual business today with another shield bug, the rather common Dock bug.
The Dock bug (as it's name suggests) can be found in good numbers on dock plants, where both the adults and nymphs exist together quite happily. It can be distinguished from the rather less common Box bug by the fact it is usually wider and it has two tiny protrusions between the antennae which Box bugs don't have.
