We made the best of the sunshine today by taking a trip down into Ayrshire...... and we had our snack at the old harbour at Dunure. It was not crowded although there were some people around, and it was nice to have a takeaway coffee from the snack bar after having our own lunch.
Had a walk around the harbour, and sat for quite a while just enjoying the ambience of the lovely wee place.
Then we drove along the coast road, fabulous scenery, and ended up at the front in Ayr. And by chance met some walking friends of ours, so had a nice chat with them.
A good day all round.
My main photo is of the harbour at Dunure at low tide. First extra is of Dunure Castle, and the second was taken along the coast road at Heads of Ayr, lots of Hawthorns in bloom, and a good view towards the town of Ayr
