A Colourful Tree Dweller
Flynnie and I spied this glorious one when playing Ludo out on the deck.
The boy has been home from school this past week...a mixture of tummy ache and headaches....and still not sure how much is put on.......but no chances are taken so 'just in case' things don't get passed around.
I had to run in to get my camera.......I kinda knew that he would be gone before I got out there....it usually is the case with birds and I.......but.......even after the battery had died in the camera and had exploded out (so I had to pry out with a knife from the kitchen)....then putting a battery with no juice back in the camera........and all the other blah blah by the time I got back to the deck I was surprised to see the birdy still sitting there.
Flynn reckoned he did some bird whispering and told the bird that he needed to wait for Nanny to take some pics to make him look good.....Lo and behold that bird did some serious posing and even waited for me to fiddle with some settings....even when we got back to our game he sat there for ages.
I couldn't help but run it through some filters it seems to be my usual MO these days.
I have been watching lots of tutorials about creating light in my images...again.....(I really do keep forgetting but I am diving deeper for better results now)....and just finished a pic of Flynn riding a huge reindeer with glowing antlers.......I might post it tomorrow....OH! that's right some person wrote on Blipfoto friends on FB about doing that and other things being 'NOT ALLOWED' ....I cannot find the post now...maybe it was taken down. I do understand that that was how Blip was created...with those rules but I do like to share what I am doing now and then with you guys.....any thoughts?
